OUR TEAM

JIM GORMAN
OWNER
Combine passions for anything outdoorsy, horticulture, home design, and stone setting, mix in a geeky interest in meteorology and home renovation, and the outcome could only be one thing: your own landscape company. Jim started Bluestone in 2012 after a career
as award-winning magazine and
book writer. He holds a degree in History from Colgate University and has been a resident of Cheltenham
for two decades.

HAYDEN McCULLOCH
OPERATIONS MANAGER
Hayden has been with Bluestone since 2013 and is at the cornerstone of everything we do. He has impeccable design and installation sense, and a skill set to match in every aspect of hardscaping. After a career in retail design at the Philadelphia Museum
of Art and Crate &Barrell, it was perhaps inevitable he would find his way to stonework. After all, this son of the Granite State of New Hampshire
is a competitive rock climber. He’s
a father of three and a graduate
of Boston University.

SAM FARQUHAR
HARDSCAPE & SOFTSCAPE
TECHNICIAN
Sam has always been a “plantsman.” Growing up in in Raleigh, North
Carolina, he made his fun money by mowing neighbors’ lawns and pulling
weeds. Lots of weeds. In high school, he and classmates grew vegetables
to donate to a city program to alleviate hunger. For us, while he’s an ace at stone craft, Sam’s real love is installing trees, shrubs and garden
perennials. It must be in the genes: his sister runs a gardening company in
Colorado

LIAM REEVES
HARDSCAPE & SOFTSCAPE TECHNICIAN
Brains and brawn are qualities we look for in our hires. Liam has both in
abundance. He’s up for a debate on any topic and fills his ears not with
music but instead with podcasts about history and current events. At
wheeling our dump truck all around town getting us exactly the materials
we need on time, there is no one better. No debate. In off hours, Liam
works small landscape jobs and
takes courses at Temple toward
his degree.

DAVID WILSON
HARDSCAPE & SOFTSCAPE
TECHNICIAN
David approaches every job with the fine-tuned focus of wordsmith. Which is apt, since when he isn’t laying stone he’s working on his novel or producing music videos. His physical strength is impressive. His personal goal is to run the mile in under 4 minutes. He’s close.

PATTI PEET
HEAD GARDENER
Patti has been tending our garden installations and charming customers
since 2014. With a deep knowledge of plants and sharp eye for detail, she
leaves beautiful landscapes in her wake. When this mother of three
rambunctious boys and coach to multiple soccer teams is on the job,
there is no doubt who is boss. Patti is a graduate of Cornell University and
holds a master’s degree from University of North Carolina.
